The production of refined naphthalene mainly relies on the purification process of industrial naphthalene. Currently, commonly used production processes include regional melting method, stepwise crystallization method, catalytic hydrogenation method, and dynamic crystallization method. Among them, the stepwise crystallization method and dynamic crystallization method have become hot research topics in recent years due to their high efficiency and low energy consumption. For example, the emulsion crystallization method can effectively improve the yield and quality of refined naphthalene by using specific emulsifiers and adjuvants, and experiments have shown that its yield can reach over 90%.
